If you're wanting to get the most outta your makeup game, there are some really easy tweaks to take you from blah to BODACIOUS.
Check out these tips, tricks and super easy hacks to seriously up your makeup:
Utilise your lip liner
Lip liner isn't just for getting a massive Kylie Jenner-esque pout ya know? Spending the time to fill in your lips before applying your lipstick will make it last 10x longer - and avoid it from bleeding outside of your lip line.
Grab a beauty blender
Using a damp beauty blender or sponge (Real Techniques do a cheaper, just as good alternative) really makes all the difference when it comes to your face base. Bounce it onto your skin rather than rubbing and blending for the ultimate dewy complexion.
Use a brow measuring tool
We're obsessed with Billion Dollar Brows' Brow Buddy tool. Unlike stencils that are designed with just one brow size for everyone - this nifty little gadget maps out where your own individual brows should start, arch and end.
Use a lip brush and concealer
Don't apply your lipstick straight from the bullet - instead, invest in a good lip brush to get a more accurate finish. Using a concealer to then line outside your lips will help your lipstick look extra sharp.
Set your makeup
Once you've finished your makeup - don't forget to set it with a completely translucent loose powder, to keep it in place all day long.
Dust baby powder onto your lashes
If you're lacking in the whole thick lash department and mascara just doesn't cut it alone - dust a teeny bit of baby powder onto your lashes first. The mascara will then stick to this and give your lashes an extra oomph.
Spritz your face with a charged water
If you've gone a bit OTT and are beginning to look a little cakey, OR if it's got to 5pm and your make up needs a bit of refreshing - use a facial water spritzer like MAC Mineralize Charged Water to revitalise your skin.
Brush your brows in place
Filling 'em in is useless because if your brows are still unruly, they'll never be on fleek. Grab a spoolie brush and give them a good brush through every morning.
Double check your make up
Okay this sounds seriously basic, but trust us - it's the most important and easiest thing to do. Before leaving the house, make sure you double check your make up in NATURAL light. Your foundation might look a-okay in your bedroom light, but once you get outside it's a whole 'nutha story. Keep a mirror by your front door and you WON'T regret it.
