Whether you're massively into makeup or a bit of a beauty novice - switching up your foundation once in a while can make a humongous difference to your makeup routine. And whether you've decided you want a bit more coverage, a more matte finish or a super glow from within kinda vibe, here's all the newest ones out there, to help you decide:

Maybelline Dream Velvet foundation, £7.99

Maybelline's newest foundation goes on like a dream, leaving your skin super smooth with a light-weight matte finish. It contains twice as much water as their Dream Satin Liquid, meaning your skin is left feeling way more hydrated - but blemishes are still fully concealed.

Clean & Clear Hint Of Tint Cover & Correct Cream, £6.99

So the thing that's a bit shit about this one is that there's only TWO shades available - but if you do happen to fall into the light or medium category, then it's a bloody great budget beauty find. Offering a medium coverage, this foundation-come-BB-cream is actually GOOD for your skin, fighting blemishes whilst you wear it.

L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Foundation, £8.99

L'Oreal's new Infallible Sculpt Foundation has basically got in on the whole contouring hype and is specifically designed to be used before contouring. It only comes in two shades, but the clever pigments somehow manage to blend to fit most skin tones (they could do with a darker offering for black skin though)

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation, £29.50

If you're into your makeup then we're guessing that you'll have already heard the buzz around Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Foundation. And it's absolutely worth all the hype. The cream foundation literally blurs away any imperfections, dullness and blemishes - leaving your skin super fresh looking, dewy in all the right places and matte across your t-zone. We're not sure how it works, but it's ahhhhmazing.

NARS Velvet Matte Skin Tint Foundation, £30.00

If you're used to NARS foundations, you might have to rejig your colour slightly - as their new Velvet Matte Skin Tint Foundation comes in slightly different shades. But once you've got your colour matched up good and proper, you'll be happy you tried something new. Their latest foundation leaves skin super velvety soft, matte and glowing. It's that clichéd 'your skin but better' kinda stuff, but honestly, it really is.

YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint foundation, £32.50

Alright so this one's been out a while - but they've had a play around with the formula and re-released it. Now, the new YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint has a higher coverage and is even more glowy. Perfect for people with dry or dull skin.
