We have officially entered the year of 2016 and here on planet Earth 'strobing' (that makeup trend we'd just managed to master) is apparently old news.
Yup. 'Cos 2016 is apparently all about 'stripping.' Interesting.
No not in that way, fool. We're talking about MAKEUP. But still, if you're wondering what the feck stripping in beauty actually is - let us explain.
What is stripping?
Okay so it's basically a new technique of applying bronzer - that leaves you looking all bronzed and bodacious, without all the crazy contouring techniques.
Seen backstage at the SS16 fashion week shows 'stripping', or 'sun-stripping' gave the models a cooler, sun-kissed tan look.
How do we do it?
Using a bronzer without toooo much shimmer (a little bit is fine for this) tap off the excess, and apply over the bridge of your nose and onto both cheeks. Like this:
Stripping basically gives you a super-natural tanned effect - as these are the parts of your face that naturally catch the sun first, and it's way easier than all that crazy contouring hoopla.
Sold? We're not ditching the strobing just yet, but stripping is definitely something we could get on board with too.
Let's discuss over @sugarscape please?
