Right so it's no big secret that Ellie Goulding's got a great face. We think so, Dougie Poynter thinks so, the whole blimmin' WORLD thinks so - so now that she's gone and spilled to the NY Times all the makeup bits and bobs she actually uses, we need to get in on the action.
So when it comes to skincare, Ellie likes vegan products. She uses Bioderma Sensibio H2O (£10.50) to remove her makeup as it's "really gentle" appaz. Then every morning she uses the Pixi Glow Tonic (£18.00), which is a gentle, exfoliating toner.
Rather than using a moisturiser, Ellie uses a Rodial serum followed by her James Read's Express Glow Mask £25.00 for a bit of fake tan. "The colour develops very quickly so you don't somehow end up with a darker face than you wanted to be in the middle of the day."
For makeup, Ellie's all about the neutrals. Her recent collaboration with MAC was based on all the colours she likes to wear, and Ellie says that at the moment she's wearing her Halcyon Days palette (£39.50). To fill in her brows Ellie uses the Sisley Eyebrow Pencil (£33.50) and revealed she's a false eyelash pro. "I'm quite good at lashes, we had a party for New Year's Eve, and I did all my friends' lashes". Lips wise, Ellie sticks to nudes with her absolute fave being Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Bitch Perfect (£23.00).
For everyday, Ellie wears a Christian Dior unisex fragrance called Gris Montaigne. But in the evening, she likes to wear Black Opium by YSL. "It's so beautiful. I understand why it's a best seller." she says.
Right then, we're off to spray ourselves in loads of Gris Montaigne, whack on some falsies and CT's Bitch Perfect lipstick and hope that Dougie falls in love with us too. Ahem.
