There are some beauty buys and makeup bits that we can justify spending our money on, and some we really can't.
But when it comes to good quality makeup - foundation is one of those things that actually, it's sometimes really worth splashing out on.
Here's five of our absolute fave foundations, which although expensive - are well worth the money.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, £27.00
This foundation is fab for a semi-matte finish, while still feeling completely weightless on your skin. It blurs over open pores, offers a medium coverage and basically looks like your skin but better.
Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, £29.00
This oil-free foundation gives buildable medium to full coverage - perfect for covering skin imperfections and blemishes, but never EVER looking cakey or claggy.
Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation, £31.50
This remains our absolute fave ever foundation for a light-weight coverage that gives skin a super natural glow without actually looking like your wearing any makeup at all.
NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, £31.00
Another oldie but a goodie is NARS Sheer Glow. This one is great for dry skin, 'cos it leaves skin visibly hydrated, more luminous, softer and smoother.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation, £29.50
This seriously is perfect skin in a bottle. It offers a medium to full coverage, but again feels totally weightless and natural. We're in LOVE with it.
