The 'blurred lip' makeup trend has been popping up backstage at fashion week for a while now, and tbh, we're more than a little bit obsessed with it.
It's technically a really subtle ombre lip look, where the colour is concentrated into the middle centre of the mouth, and then blurred out - for a really soft, subtle colour.
We tried it out here at Sugarscape HQ and we're srsly loving it:
1) Start off by dabbing concealer or foundation around your outer lip line - leaving the very centre of your lips clean
2) Use a lip liner pencil to colour in the very centre of your top and bottom lip (this helps the colour last longer, and appear more pigmented than lipstick alone)
3) With your finger or a lip brush, apply lipstick over the lip liner colour used. Then blend this out towards the edges of your lips - keeping the middle the most concentrated in colour
4) Add gloss to finish and ta daaaaa.
