Everyone knows that Lottie Tomlinson is pretty daymn fierce when armed with a mascara wand, a contouring kit and a lip liner. She's learnt from the ultimate makeup maestro Lou Teasdale, and had some of the best work experience that a gal could ever wish for.
Back in December, Lottie T even got her mitts on Selena Gomez's lovely face to do her makeup on The X Factor, and she must have done a pretty ace job because she's now been booked as Selena's makeup artist for her upcoming tour. AWOO.
Lottie's been chatting to Elle.com about her journey to becoming a fully fledged makeup whizz, and during the interview she revealed that she's landed a pretty big job working with Selena on tour.
"[Selena] was on the X Factor in the UK at the same time as [One Direction] were," Lottie explained. "We met backstage. She came to Lou to ask her to do her hair.
"She had really long hair at the time, and it was getting all knotted up. So I was assisting Lou with her hair, and she asked for a makeup touchup. I said, "Sure, I can do that!" And she liked it, and we're still in contact."
We're guessing she MORE than liked it, as Lottie went on to spill that she's now leaving to work on Selena's tour in May for just over two months, with the whole tour taking up the rest of the year.
Quizzed on what she's got up her sleeve to prep, preen and polish Sellers' beautiful face with, Lottie said: "One thing I really like the Anastasia Beverly Hills stuff. It's really good quality and it has a really wide range. So I'm getting a lot of that.
"I'm going to LA in the next couple of weeks, and I'll text her to see if she wants to meet up and talk makeup.
"Though I could talk about makeup all the time; I get other people aren't as obsessed.
Having already toured the world as part of Team Make 1D Look Pretty, you'd think that working with Selena would be easy peasy, but Lottie also admitted that actually, she's a bit apprehensive about not having the rest of the gang around her.
"I'm in quite a good position because I've done the One Direction tour already, so I know a lot of what to expect," Lottie said. "But it's different because I'll be on my own at first; I won't have my brother or Lou or anyone with me.
"So I'll have to meet people and make friends. That's the part that's the hardest, just not knowing who I'll be with, when I'm so used to being on tour with people I'm really close with.
"Hopefully my family will come visit from time to time, and make it easier."
Pretty amazing accomplishment, dontcha think? It's pretty ace to see that Lottie's talents are getting recognised by such big names.
