REVIEW: Are foundation drops the key to flawless skin?

Say hello to the lighter, thinner alternative to liquid foundation

Most Popular

Ladies, lads or labradoodles: the chances are anybody who's looking for the perfect makeup base has probably had some disasters along the way. Too cakey, wrong colour, not enough coverage or generally just a shite foundation full stop: we've all been there.

Which is why it was about time something came along that was *almost* impossible to get wrong - in the shape of foundation drops.  'What are they?' we hear you cry - read our review and find out.

What exactly are foundation drops?

For starters, they're obviously a foundation - but the formula is super liquid and light, almost like water. Forget thick or cakey makeup, 'cos foundation drops are all about the exact opposite: you can build up a full coverage if you require, but mostly their purpose is to provide a dewy, no-makeup-makeup vibe.

How do I apply it?

Put a couple of drops of the foundation straight onto a makeup brush before buffing it into your skin. Because the formula is so liquid-y, a little goes a long way - and the applicator isn't designed to go straight onto your face like other foundation products.

Why will I love them?

Because foundation drops are so thin, it's v easy to blend and build up coverage if you require. Achieving the 'dewy, subtle glow' that celebos always go on about is made 10x easier by the satin soft formula. It applies onto your skin easier than butter onto toast, leaves a velvet soft finish and is actually really good for your skin due to the argan oil. Are we selling it to you yet? GOOD.

Where can I get my hands on some, then?
