Everyone knows we're lovers of a good beauty hack or two. And if it's gonna give us instagram-perfect eyebrows, then we're totally in.
But this latest beauty hack sweeping its way around the internet is preeeeetty crazy.
'Cos apparently, the newest and all-natural way of getting brows on fleek is by rubbing raw onion onto yer eyebrows. Fur realz.
Beauty vlogger Farah Dukhai seemingly started the trend, when she posted a video on her Instagram claiming that the sulphur in onion juice encourages brow growth.
And while Farah may be right - onion juices do contain sulphur, dermatologist Kavita Mariwall told Allure that previous studies where sulphur in onions has been used to treat alopecia (hair loss) the results may have actually been due to the soothing anti-inflammatory properties, and not the onion juices actually stimulating hair growth itself.
Kavita goes on to say there's no harm in trying out the hack yourself as it won't do any damage - just be prepared to smell like onions.
