When Lupita Nyong'o stepped out onto the Met Gala red carpet earlier this week with a sky-high, gravity-defying hair do - it's pretty safe to say that all eyes were on her.
But when Vogue then used Lupita's awesome style to draw comparisons to Audrey Hepburn, she was quick to set the record straight of where her hair inspirations actually came from.
Posting to instagram, Lupita simply captioned the video "Hair Inspiration. Check. @vernonfrancois @voguemagazine #metball2016."
In the vid, Lupita shows how she drew inspiration from classic Black icons of the past including Nina Simone and traditional African hairstyles - not Audrey Hepburn, which was the assumption made by Vogue.
