Seeing as boys in books are infinitely better than boys in real life, and seeing as our actual love life extends to a bag of Maltesers and a cuddle with the cat, reading romance novels is as close as we're gonna get to relationship goals.
But thanks to a super fancy new app called Crave, the whole experience of falling in love with a love story is about to get even more intense, and the 'immersive reading' that it gives you is guaranteed to make you even MORE obsessed with fictional characters.
Oh great, just what we needed.
As you scroll through your ebook on Crave, the app sneaks into the narrative, making the whole thing seem even more real by showing you loads of interactive stuff alongside the story - for example, you might see the text conversations between characters.
You might get a video of an actor portraying one of the characters doing an interview about what's just happened, a special moment of video (like when the hero gets his first glance of his true love), and even reaction GIFs to the book.
Crave chops the story up at around 1,000 word mini chapters each day, but after reading the next part, you might find a text popping up on your phone from the book's author, or even the character that you've probably fallen madly in love with by this point.
Sounds pretty increds to us. Although we are kinda grateful that this has come along AFTER Gus Waters, Peeta Mellark, Edward Cullen and Hardin Scott otherwise we'd stand no chance.
What do you reckon to this idea of 'interactive reading'? Something you're kinda intrigued by? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
