It's always slightly terrifying when the deepest and darkest parts of the One Direction fandom reach mainstream media (never forget that Directioner documentary), so everyone say a prayer for Larry Stylinson shippers on this fateful day.
London artist Owen G Parry has been watching you all on Tumblr for quite some time now, and his latest exhibition and project entitled Fan Riot have been inspired by the phenomenon of fanfiction and more specifically, Larry themselves.
Oh holy cheesus.
Actual news outlets like The Telegraph are running headlines along the lines of 'Erotic One Direction fan fiction inspires art show' right now, reporting that when you next pop into the Jerwood Space art gallery, you might just get to see the "pregnant belly of Harry Styles".
This is just one of the installations that's part of the Larry-inspired gallery, as well as this very lovely flag covered in an edited pic of them snogging underwater. Decor goals.
The words 'ship everything' are etched into Perspex for a piece titled 'Larry!Hieroglyfics', and a live fan art performance featuring One Direction impersonators (complete with all of their tattoos) has also been running for gallery visitors.
Prepare your eyeballs.
Artist Owen G Parry told The Telegraph that Larry shippers are: "just presenting the normal ideals of a relationship, but actually it's really subversive".
"These fictions are an opportunity to create – for pure expression in their field. Fandom is a space where anything can happen. We might go back to a genuine passion in art."
We don't know what to feel.
Thoughts on Larry being a masterpiece? We need to discuss this so chuck us a tweet on Twitter @Sugarscape.
