It's been almost a year and a half now since Anna Todd's Harry Styles fan fiction After was bought by Paramount to be made over for the big screen, so we're guessing that the final movie can't be too far away now, right?
Fans are starting to get excited about the potential casting announcements which must be just around the corner, and it looks like Bella Thorne is the current fan favourite to take on the role of Hardin and Tessa's friend (ahem), Steph.
The hashtag #BellaIsOurSteph is becoming more and more popular amongst the After fandom, filled with punk edits and super excited pleading as they've decided that she'd be the perfect actress for red headed, pierced-up friend of Hardin, Steph.
And when quizzed by Teen on the idea of starring in the hugely anticipated film adaptation of After, Bella hinted that it's definitely a possibility.
Chatting about the ideal fan-casting (and clearly pretty chuffed with the idea), Bella said: "They picked me as Steph, who is lie a rocker chick with tattoos and piercings, and I was like 'Hey, my fans get who I am now."
And when asked whether she'd consider the part, Bella's immediate response was: "Well, I mean obviously." YAS.
Although judging by this little clip, we're wondering whether Bella's actually read the whole of the After saga and discovered Steph's true colours quite yet? Ahem, no spoilers here.
Whaddya reckon to that, then? Would Bella be a good choice to be cast as Hardin's best friend? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
