Big news from the wizarding world this week as JK Rowling has given us all the first look at her upcoming play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, featuring a sneaky peek at Harry, Ron and Hermione with their wands at the ready.
JK went behind the scenes of the theatre set recently to give fans the first look at how rehearsals are coming along for Cursed Child, and with less than fifty days to go until the curtain goes up for the first time, it looks like the cast are well stuck into things.
Visiting the Palace Theatre in London, JK Rowling kicks off the vid by pointing to a sign on the backstage door which readers 'Keep calm and keep the secrets', so it looks as though we won't be getting any big spoilers until the show kicks off on July 31st.
Throughout the clip, Harry (Jamie Parker), Ron (Paul Thornley) and Hermione (Noma Dumezweni) can be seen practicing their wand choreography which is pretty exciting, and it looks as though the chemistry between them is going to be ace.
JK tells director John Tiffany and writer John Thorne: "This will be such an incredible theatrical experience that I'd love us to be able to surprise people and move people in the natural way that a story should surprise and move people."
If this doesn't get you excited for the story of Albus Severus, nothing will. Have a watch of the sneaky peek below:
This is TOO MUCH. Are they duelling? What's with the jazzy suitcase dance? SOMEONE TELL US PLEASE.
