Having finished off The Hunger Games and read Twilight at least a zillion times, we've been looking out for another series to sink our teeth into. We might just have found a winner though, and can't stop obsessing over dark and twisted world of the Divergent series. Bearing in mind the movie rights have already been snapped up, we thought it was only right that we had a little think about which actors we'd like to see playing stormy heroine Tris and most importantly, her dark and mysterious mentor Four.

We are very protective when it comes to seeing our favourite characters translated from the pages of the book onto the big screen, and after several rather heated arguements in the office, we narrowed down the actresses we'd like to see playing Tris to our Top 3.
Being a bit of a kick-ass character, we think Dakota Fanning would make a great choice to play Tris, but maybe after seeing her as Jane in Twilight, she's a little bit too scary to play the heroine.
With her dark hair, Selena Gomez doesn't look exactly how we imagine Tris to be, but maybe she'd still make a good choice. Thrown into the brutal faction of Dauntless, there would be a lot of physical fighting to act and we're not sure if we can imagine Selena walking around with a bloodied up face.
Last but not least, we're big fans of Chloe Moretz and would love to see her star in something like this. She's the right age for how we imagine Tris and we're pretty sure she's get her intuitive, tom-boy character down too.
But who do you think would be best to play Tris?

We love a mysterious male character, and Four is about as intriguing as it gets. As a Dauntless mentor, he is charged with the job of training Tris and the other new Dauntless recruits into conquering their fears. While at first he seems the biggest obstacle in her fight for survival, Tris gradually comes to see him as a protector, realising that they share an unbreakable bond that goes even deeper than their Dauntless roots.
Although there's not much singing and dancing going on, having seen how buffed up Zac Efron is after playing a marine in The Lucky One, look-wise we think he'd definitely make a good Four. We're not sure we can see him getting into the fighting though, and we wouldn't want anything to happen to his very gorgeous face.
When it comes to being dark and stormy, we have to say that One Direction's vey own Zayn Malik could be a perfect choice. Plus he's got the tattoos down already.. Judging by their iCarly appearance, the lads aren't averse to giving acting a go, but unless the other lads were involved, we wouldn't want to tempt Zac away from his music.
Although we'd want him to dye his hair a bit darker, Austin Butler is exactly the type of guy we can see playing Four. He's already got that mysterious thing going on and having seen the way he is around girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, we can't help thinking he'd be perfect as the strong but vulnerable Four.
Oh we really can't decide, but with second book Insurgent only days away from being published, we are pretty darn excited to find out what the next installment has in store for Tris and Four.
