Kanye West arrived at Trump Tower on Tuesday morning for a meeting with President elect Donald Trump, according to Trump's spokeswoman, Hope Hicks. West entered the building shortly before 9 a.m. with a large entourage, The Associated Press reported. His wife, Kim Kardashian West, was not with him. It's unclear why West is meeting with the president elect.
West, who said last year that he plans to run for president in 2020, has expressed his support for Trump during concerts in recent months. A week after the election, West told an audience in California that if he'd voted he would have cast his ballot for Trump. A few days later he was hospitalised for exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
