Celebs tend to go either one of two ways - they either frickin’ lurve the limelight and we all get sick of seeing them pouting up a storm, OR they hate the paps so much that it makes them wish they’d like, totally never become famous and could just lead a normal life, GOD.
Seeing as Robert Pattinson is cooler than a bowl of ice cream with a slushee poured on top, he is one of the latter famous sorts, and apparently hates being famous so much that he’s considering giving up acting all together. AGH, but who will tell us to 'hold on tight, spider monkey'?
Rob was catapulted into super stardom after he landed the part of Cedric Diggory in ‘Arry Potter, and Edward Cullen in the Twilight films, but while most actors might have been quite chuffed to have such success, he’s apparently not impressed with the fame that followed.
A source told RadarOnline: ''The cost of fame is the thing he and Kristen used to complain about all day and that hasn't changed at all for him.''
In fact, it’s said to be bothering him so much these days that Rob is considering jacking in the acting all together and heading behind the camera instead, to try his hand at more low key film work. OWE, but we’ll miss his pretty face.
'[He] is looking at a whole new approach to his future and is even considering going to theatre school to focus more on getting behind the camera.”
''Rob's been talking to a lot of independent filmmakers and the last thing he wants to do is act in another blockbuster. He would like to direct a movie one day.''
We can just imagine him and Kristen grumbling together over a bowl of Supernoodles and writing moody poetry together while planning how they can swap acting for a normal job. Until then, why not act in a couple more blockbusters like The Rover and Maps to the Stars, eh Rob? They're sure to go under the radar.
Ooh-err, what do you think about Rob giving up the acting to head behind the camera? Reckon celebs should embrace the fame, or has he got a point?
