Lily-Rose Depp has clarified some comments she made about her sexuality, saying that her words were taken out of context and misconstrued.
After teaming up with the Self Evident Project, which helps young people feel proud about their sexuality by posting thousands of inspiring images online, a lot of people took her admission that she "falls somewhere on the spectrum" as a sort of coming-out.
But Lily has decided to clear things up once and for all, telling Nylon that the Instagram post was widely misinterpreted: "That was really misconstrued, that whole thing.
"A lot of people took it as me coming out, but that's not what I was trying to do. I was literally doing it just to say that you don't have to label your sexuality. It's not that big of a deal"
Explaining that people jumped to the wrong conclusions about her sexuality, she wrote: "I guess it came off the wrong way, because then everyone labeled me as gay. That's not what I was trying to say,' she continued.
"Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course! But I did that literally just to say you don't have to label yourself, and then everyone was like, ''Lily Rose Depp comes out as gay!'''
So that's all cleared up, then.
