A man has been detained outside Taylor Swift's home in Bel Air after neighbours reported him to the police for 'lurking' on her drive way. Gulp.
The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that police were called at around 4.30pm on Wednesday afternoon, following calls from onlookers and people in the neighbourhood of a suspicious looking man.
It's thought he was taken to a police station in West LA for a medical evaluation but was not charged with any crime, and it's unclear whether or not Taylor Swift was in the property at the time. Pretty scary stuff, eh?
According to a course at TMZ, neighbours reported an individual "around Taylor Swift's house", wandering at the foot of her driveway and yelling at the singer to come outside for him. AGH.
A statement released by reps for Taylor to E! News read: "This is why it's irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities."
Understandably this is a horrible situation for Taylor to be in and the thought of someone stalking you and finding out where you live is absolutely terrifying, so thank gahd the police were on hand to detain the man.
