If you thought calls for The Jump to be cancelled were enough to ruin your day, spare a thought for the FIVE contestants who have gained serious injuries from entering the show.
Whilst it's all fun and games and we're pretty much the biggest fans of the show going, viewers and Twitter users have complained to Channel 4 about the numerous contestants who have ended up in hospital after just two weeks of the show.
Olympic athlete Beth Tweddle had to be air lifted to hospital after breaking two of her vertebrates and Rebecca Adlington had to pull out of the competition due to dislocating her shoulder, whilst another contestant broke her elbow and someone pulled a leg muscle. Not ideal really, is it?
And so viewers took to Twitter to voice their outrage and called for the show to be axed before someone seriously hurts themselves, with one writing: "Terrible for Beth Tweddle to injure her back on The Jump after years as a competitive gymnast! Maybe it's time for The Jump to stop now".
Another added: "surely it's time to cancel this ridiculously dangerous show before someone's seriously injured. #thejump #anythingformoney"
It's thought contestants are offered mahooosive amounts of money to do the show (we're talking in the £150k region), but presumably Channel 4 value their health and safety over making good entertainment.
THOUGHTS? What do you lot reckon? Let's discuss over on our twitter or in the comment box below whether you reckon the show should be axed.
