Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth gave their son a pretty unique name in the end (not quite as unique as Conchobar, but whatevs), but now another couple have come forward to claim that THEY got their first with calling their child Freddie Reign.
Seeing as there are approximately 7 billion people in the world, it's quite likely that some of them will be called the same thing. But despite that fact, a mum and dad from Devon are furious that Louis and Bri Bri nicked their baby name.
We hear Sydney Reign is still up for grabs, guys? Swapsies?
Alice Murrell and Glynn O'Connell wanted to give their third child a pretty special name last year, and finally settled on Freddie Reign when he was born back in August.
They thought they'd be the only parents on planet Earth to come up with that one (errr, it's not THAT weird a name y'know), and were pretty gutted when the first ever One Direction baby came and took it a few months later.
"I wanted an original name for my boy, but now it's the same name as the son of a superstar," Alice told the Exeter Express.
"My boy will now either be mocked, or have the same name as a million other children. If ever people ask me my son's name, I now sound like I've copied Louis.
"I feel like shouting I got there first. Freddie Reign means something to my partner and I, but I am really disappointed it's not as unique as we'd hoped."
Gutted, love. Anyone starting to think that Freddie Reign seems like a great name for their next puppy/kitten/cactus?
Surprised that there's another Freddie Reign living and breathing right now? Reckon it's gonna be a popular name now? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
