They've been hanging out a fair bit following the verdict of the Dr. Luke sex abuse lawsuit; and last night Lady Gaga dedicated her Oscars performance of 'Til It Happens to You' to Kesha as the #FreeKesha campaign continues.
Along with many other celeb-types, Gaga's supported Kesha publically and, since her GRAMMY-winning track 'Til It Happens to You' is about sexual abuse she dedicated her performance to the star and other victims.
Taking to Twitter to thank Gaga, Kesha said: "thank u @ladygaga and VP @JoeBiden for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars. it hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons' [sic].
Meanwhile Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's also spoken out in support of Kesha, telling The Sun at last week's BRIT Awards: "It's sickening and she 100 per cent has my support. As a woman I can't imagine what she has been through. I can't believe it. She should have the right to do whatever she wants.
"I will definitely reach out to her just as Taylor Swift and Adele have. To have to be in a working environment and go through that is awful. It's so important to have your voice – she's had that taken away.
'She should be able to leave. Why won't they let her leave? As a mentor on X Factor, when I support the girls I'm so passionate about them feeling safe and supported. She's lost that."
