Fancypants Ellie Goulding has landed herself on the cover of Seventeen magazine this month over in the States, and in the inside interview she's been clearing up all the rumours that are constantly surrounding her love life.
So yup, that does mean that she's properly addressed the tales of a romance with Niall Horan to sort 'em out once and for all, as well as all the speculation of that awkward, post-fling feud with Ed Sheeran. JUICY.
Being in a love triangle with Niall Horan and Ed Sheeran isn't exactly the world's most nightmare situation (aka, it's a dream), but Ellie has confirmed that neither of the relationships were as big a deal as the press likes to make out.
"We're still friends," Ellie spilled when asked about her mysterious relationship with Nialler. "We went on a few dates, and it was really fun.
"He's a really, really lovely guy. He's got the biggest sense of humour, he's very caring, and I see him as a genuine friend in the industry."
So it sounds like you don't need to break a sweat about #Nellie, and despite all the talk of her and Ed Sheeran kinda hating each other these days and both writing revenge songs about their relationship, she went on to say that she's only got good stuff to say about him, too.
"We've known each other for a few years. I think he's a really nice guy and a brilliant musician," Ellie revealed.
"We've bumped into each other and we've hung out and stuff, but the thing is if I hang out with someone, it's instantly like I'm 'dating' them. We were never in a relationship. My song is not about him."
Surprised by any of what Ellie said, or did you already think it had been blown waaay out of proportion with Niall and Ed? Hmm, let's have a chat over on Twitter @Sugarscape.
