Cheryl Fernandez-Versini hasn't directly addressed critics questioning her relationship with One Direction's Liam Payne. Instead, she briefly updated her Instagram bio hinting people were 'jealous' of the Chiam situation and has now been on a bit of a rant about being a 'girls' girl' as she receives loads of abuse online.
Our Chezza's opened up about how difficult it can be being a successful gal in the public eye; saying she loves 'other strong women' and wishes everyone could just support one another, alright?
Chucking a good old inspirational quote on Insta as she does, Cheryl said: "🏼 It can be so hard at times being a girl, for sooo many reasons! But we don't have to make it harder for each other.. Why do we still feel the need to do that ?? I don't understand it. I have always been a Girls girl, and love other strong women.
"That is why I surround myself with them, and that is why I try to empower others. Trying to pull another person down, only speaks volumes about your character.! And not a thing about theirs.. There's nothing more powerful or beautiful than an inspiring, strong women that you can look up to or turn to... Be one!!!" [sic].
Well said, babes.
This all comes after Cheryl's old X Factor protégé Katie Waissel stuck her two cents in about the whole Chiam thing, telling Heat mag: "I'm not really sure what to make of it. I know Liam so well and he is such a sweetheart. I don't want her to hurt him. I would just never put them together.
"Liam has never dated a celebrity - he's always gone for the girl-next-door, so what is this? I don't know what they'd talk about."
So there you go.
