Earlier this weekend, Dylan O'Brien was rushed to hospital with severe injuries after an accident on the set of the third Maze Runner movie.
The first reports suggested that Dylan had broken multiple bones - with author of The Maze Runner series, James Dashner, also taking to Twitter to reassure fans that Dylan's injuries are not life threatening.
Now the Director of The Maze Runner series, Wes Ball, has shared a handwritten letter with fans on Twitter, updating us on Dylan's condition.
"Well, it's been a whirlwind of emotions these past few days. I've been overwhelmed with feelings of anger and sadness and guilt," he wrote.
"But, ultimately I find myself left with just a deep love and respect for Dylan. He is one tough cookie," he continued.
"I'm sorry for the grief this accident has caused his friends and family as well as my wonderful cast and crew. It's scary seeing your friend get hurt, but fortunately, Dylan is going to be just fine. After a few weeks of rest and recovery he'll be back up and running to finish our adventure together."
Scary stuff. Sending all the love over to Dylan and hoping for a speedy recovery.
