The media just really doesn't GET YouTube, does it? One minute they're acting shocked and horrified to hear that Zoella makes quite a lot of money with her 10 MILLION subscribers, and now they're kicking off about her latest selfie too.
Oh HARK, holy moly mother and heavens a-ruddy-bove, Zoe's posted a pic on Snapchat revealing her actual, real-life pyjamas, and we for one are absolutely outraged by her unacceptably raunchy behaviour.
Naaaaaaahhttttttttt. Because that's literally the most ridiculous thing we've ever read.
In a week where incredibly serious and important news is breaking across the world, actual headlines across major publications are being dedicated to labelling Zoe's bedtime pic as 'revealing' and 'saucy'.
You'd think that'd she'd been parading around in a thong and a feather boa on Babestation the way they're going on about it (and even if she did, more power to her), but the pic actually just features Zoe wearing a pair of Calvin Klein pants and a t-shirt.
Yep, that's literally it.
SACRE BLEU, say goodbye to that squeaky clean image that we've all come to know Zoe for. A 25 year old woman wears quite-big-knickers as her pyjamas and confirms that she does indeed own thighs? Well that's it, the role model thing is OVER.
It's worth bearing in mind of course that the sites who've hit out at Zoe for her oh so raunchy selfie are the exact same titles who are forever slamming everyone from the Kardashians to the Geordie Shore gang, for daring to show skin on social media.
Why is it exactly that they're so horrified and scared by the idea of women showing their bodies and their sexuality? If a gal feels confident in her own skin and feels good enough about herself to take a photo of it, shouldn't that be something that we're celebrating?
God knows we're made to feel shit about ourselves often enough that actually, it's pretty great if a woman wants to show off her bod.
And sure, it might be a bit samey when it comes to certain stars, but if you don't like it, don't follow and leave them to do them. It's as simple as that. Besides, no one tutted at 5SOS for getting COMPLETELY BUTT NAKED on the cover of Rolling Stone.
But anyway, we digress. Zoe's very cute, very unglamorous and very much 97% covered up selfie featuring one inch of thigh and half a belly button is not revealing, or raunchy, or SAUCY. In fact, it's about as saucy as a bacon sandwich with no sauce.
The end. Let us know what you reckon to all of this, we're over on Twitter @Sugarscape.
