Being on the cover of a magazine is just part of Gigi Hadid's casual, day to day life. She brushes her teeth, she makes a coffee, she puts some socks on and she sees herself on the front of Vogue. Sure.
But unfortuanately her latest mag cover probably won't be getting framed and hung in Gigi's office any time soon, because she's kicked off on Twitter at Girlfriend magazine for using her image without permission.
It all got a little bit awkward yesterday after Australian Girlfriend mag took to Instagram to reveal that Gigi was looking gorge as ever on the front of their May issue. Hooray, what lovely news, we'll take seventy bajillion copies please.
Getting all excited in the caption and kinda making her sound like their big cover star, Girlfriend wrote: "We're honoured to have the one and only @gigihadid on the cover of our May issue ON SALE TODAY!!!"
But someone who probably won't be rushing out to get her hands on a copy is Gigi herself, as she took to Twitter to get seriously arsey with the magazine, who she reckons have made her the cover star without her permission. Uh ohhh.
Tweeting them directly, she unleashed ALL the attitude and fired back: "Honoured to take a stock photo from 2 years ago & use it without my permission…? Lol."
The lol followed by a fullstop is always brutal. Gigi's since deleted the tweet, so we're guessing she probably got told off for chucking sass around like confetti.
What do you reckon to Gigi having a pop at the magazine? Are they out of order, or should she not have said anything? Let's have a chat, we're over on Twitter @Sugarscape.
