Earlier this year, Vanessa Hudgens's father passed away following a battle with cancer - and three months later she has opened up in a heartbreaking interview with PEOPLE about how she's coping.
Cast your minds back to January, and you might remember the awful news of Vanessa's father passing away the day of her Grease: Live performance, in which she still took to the stage and performed like a pro.
And this week, in her first interview since, Vanessa has opened up about the 'highs and lows' she and her family have gone through after cancer took her father.
"There are highs and there are lows," she explained. "It sucks, but death happens. It never makes it easier but it happens to all of us. It's just something we have to get through until we all meet again in heaven."
"My mom looks out through such beautiful eyes," Vanessa told People. "I've learned to follow her lead."
We're sending loads of love and happy vibes in their direction.
