If you're the kind of person who basks in other people's misery you might have considered placing bets on the potential downfall of Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's new, and very publicised, relationship.
But, we're gonna have to stop you in your tracks for a second pal, because you're not likely to receive a massive windfall in cash over the the next few weeks/months.
Why? Because placing bets on Taylor Swift's love life is no longer possible for a bunch of absolute love-scrooges in China.
Yep, China have actually gone to the length of banning online vendors from selling 'insurance policies' linked to Tay's romance with Tom. People had previously been going through an online marketplace to buy the policies, with the hope of doubling their money in the event Swiddleston broke up.
But the Taobao marketplace is now cracking down on these vendors, and it's now no longer possible to place bets and make money off of celebrity break-ups.
Yikes. Stick to the day job, people.
