Alright, folks? Cybersmile here. Last month we applauded Florence Welch for her private performance to end all others; and just incase a celebrity performing for a sick fan wasn't enough, June has seen England's Prince William gracing the cover of Attitude magazine. Might we add that this is the first time in history a member of the Royal Family has been featured on the front cover of a gay publication? Let's hope that becomes a thing, eh?
Prince William majestically spoke with Attitude magazine about mental health issues and cyberbullying. He may not be next in line to take the thrown, but he's certainly next in line for the Cybersmiler of the Month pedestal.
Prince William had this to say regarding his thoughts on the matter: "No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives.
"The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now. Their sense of strength and optimism should give us all encouragement to stand up to bullying wherever we see it.You should be proud of the person you are and you have nothing to be ashamed of."
If you can't get in touch with Prince William (he's a busy boy) to discuss your cyberbullying problems, remember we're here. If you're suffering and facing any form of online abuse and you need our support, contact email@example.com or tweet @AskCybersmile and we will be happy to help, 24/7!
