Matty Healy from The 1975 has spoken up about his flirtation with Taylor Swift from back when the terms Swiddleston and Talvin would've left everyone scratching their heads in utter confusion.
Yep, even though there was never anything official going on between the two of them, Matty has spoken up about Taylor a few times in the past, and there were even rumours that The 1975's 'Change of Heart' was inspired by her.
Now, in an interview to The Irish Examiner, Matty admitted that Taylor is still the most famous person in his phonebook, despite the fact she's avoiding all his messages: "Probably Taylor Swift but she's probably changed her number by now." He added jokingly: "I keep texting her."
Matty previously commented on all the drama surrounding his flirtation with Taylor, telling Q: "I don't do anything else, right, so it doesn't leave a lot of room for me going out, or shagging someone. So the one time I did have a flirtation with a girl it ends up going everywhere.... I mean, I got on E! News and people were like, 'Who's Matt Healy?' so that was cool."
"But I didn't make a big deal out of it myself," Matty continued. "It's not really anything to talk about, because if she wasn't Taylor Swift we wouldn't be talking about her. She wasn't a big impact on my life. It's just interesting to me how interested the world is about Taylor Swift."
Well, you can say that, for sure. Anyway, it looks like Matty's been well and truly ghosted. Yikes.
