Zayn Malik recently cancelled a headline gig due to his 'extreme anxiety' and apparently his management are worried it's gonna impact his career longterm - whilst Gigi Hadid is apparently 'convinced she's the only one who can save him'.
After pulling out of Capital's Summertime Ball a few months back due to his 'crippling anxiety', Zayn was forced to cancel a future gig in at Dubai's Autism Rocks Arena on October 7th due to not feeling 'sufficiently confident'.
At the time, he released a statement that read: "Dear Fans, I have been working over the last three months to overcome my extreme anxiety around major live solo performances I feel I am making progress but I have today acknowledged that I do not feel sufficiently confident to move forward with the planned show in Dubai in October.
"Iam assured that all tickets will be refunded. I am truly sorry to disappoint you. I hope to see you all soon. Thank you to all my fans who support me globally.
"With love and respect always, Zayn"
A source at Heat magazine has since reported that Gigi Hadid is doing everything she can to support him through his anxiety and 'reclusive lifestyle'.
The insider commented: "As far as the Hadids can tell, Zayn mostly seems to want to party all night and lay around all day. He can be a bit of a recluse and he often wants Gigi to stay in with him. She wants to support him, so she'll drop everything if he says he's struggling.
"Gigi's determined to stand by him and she's convinced herself she's the only one who understands him. She thinks she can save him.
"When they first met, Zayn was the bigger star. But things have changed - her career is hotter now. Her family are worried being with Zayn could affect her work. They're pleased he makes her happy but they are concerned."
The source went on to add that Zayn's management are also incredibly worried about his lack of confidence and struggle with anxiety, as it's impacting his career in a big way.
"He will barely commit to any promo time and sales have tanked, too", they explained. "Big festivals still want him, but after the summer cancellations, the label is worried about him pulling. They understand he has issues and will help him with them, but that can't go on forever."
Of course, none of this has come from Zayn or Gigi and as of yet, his management hasn't comments - so what do you think? Is it total BS or is there some truth in it? Discuss with us @Sugarscape, if you want.
