James Corden might have made a joke about him at the BRITs, but The Script's Danny O'Donoghue isn't taking it to heart. In fact he seems pretty confident about his new role as a judge and mentor on new BBC talent show The Voice.
Arguably not as well known as fellow judges Tom Jones, Jessie J and Will.I.Am, The Script's Danny O'Donoghue has been receiving a bit of stick since it was announced he was taking on the role.
Not only did James Corden made a crack about him during this years BRITs award ceremony, but he's also been jokingly branded 'Danny I Dunno Who' on Twitter.
Asked about how he felt about the comic's crack about him by Digital Spy, Danny said: "James who? Whatever. It's up to other people to make up their own minds. I know I'm on this show for what I've done in my career. I've spent 15 years in the music industry, it's all I know.
"The proof is in the pudding and I think people should check out the show and in particular James should probably check it out before he goes saying things like that," he added.
We can't wait for The Voice to start and frankly, any show that gives us an excuse to not only listen to Danny's wise words but also stare into his eyes is good by us.
What do you think of that? Are you excited for The Voice or will you be sticking with Britain's Got Talent?
