Cory Monteith warns fans to 'stay out of trouble' in final recorded video message

Last weekend 31-year-old Glee actor Cory Monteith was tragically found dead in his Canadian hotel room following a toxic drink and drugs overdose. And now - after friends, fans and colleagues have been sending their tribute messages to the star all week - a video of his final recorded message to fans has appeared online.

In his last video, Cory warns fans to 'stay out of trouble' on a flight to Vancouver, where he checked into the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel.

Filmed on July 6th, the video sees Cory saying: "Hi Malorie, I'm Cory - I'm Sheila's friend. I just wanted to record this video for you guys to let you know to stay out of trouble and stay in school."

According to Global News, Cory was approached by flight attendant Shiela to record a short message for her boyfriend's daughter Malorie. Just seven days later, Cory passed away.

This all comes after it was revealed that the future of Glee was decided by girlfriend and co-star Lea Michele. "Lea blessed every decision - I told her even I don't know what to do," show boss Ryan Murphy said. I don't know how to write about the death of someone I love. She wanted people to be together."
