Piers Morgan has slammed Zayn Malik for being "rude and unprofessional" following the news that his upcoming interview with Greg James over at Radio 1 has been cancelled, just like that one with Graham Norton.
Piers, who you probably remember from such times as arguing with Niall Horan over golf, being pantsied by Harry Styles, and engaging in a ferocious Twitter war with One Direction that ended with #PiersMorganIsSmelly trending worldwide, voiced his opinion on Good Morning Britain.
"I interviewed them all for a YouTube thing two years ago, before he left the band, and he revealed a big tattoo of a gun on his hip," he said.
Errr, please do not abuse the sacred and hallowed memories that are 1D day by branding it a 'YouTube thing', Piers. That's just rude.
He continued: "He was just surly the entire time. I thought, 'If you don't wanna be a popstar, go and do something else. Go and clean drains'."
Adding that Zayn isn't doing himself any favours by dropping out of interviews, he continued: "Now he's being deliberately rude to people pulling out of interviews, being difficult. Get over yourself, mate. You're a multi-millionaire pop star."
