Last night's robot theme at the 2016 Met Gala saw a gazillion celebs rock the red carpet with barely-there dresses and actual pieces of armour. But Emma Watson's take on the night was a liiiittle different.
Instead, Emma wore a custom Calvin Klein two-piece that although beautiful - was actually made in a TOTALLY different way than all the other dresses worn that night.
'Cos Emma's outfit was made using recycled plastic bottles. YUP ACTUAL BOTTLES OF COKE N STUFF.
Sarah Slutsky, Emma's stylist, posted a glorious pic to instagram explaining the design.
"Tonight, the stunning @EmmaWatson ahead of the #RedCarpet at the Met Ball in a look crafted by the incredible team at @calvinklein. With the help of @ecoage this 5 piece look is created from 3 fabrics woven from yarns all made from recycled plastic bottles.
"Plastic is one of the biggest pollutants – being able to turn this waste into a high quality material is a real success story.
Also this beautiful look was designed with the intention to be repurposed for future use; the pants can be worn on their own, the train can be used for another red carpet - the ultimate #30Wears!"
