One of the things we love about Glee is the way the storyline always surprises us. From the cast getting slushies in the face to spending entire episodes dressed as Lady Gaga, we never seem to know what's just around the corner. But while they love the show as it is, cast members Lea Michele, Jane Lynch and Darren Criss wouldn't necessarily make the same choices for their characters if they were in charge of the script.
Hanging out at the 100th episode party this week, Lea and the gang were clearly feeling a bit reflective and couldn't help considering just what they'd like to see their characters getting up to on the show.
"I'd like to do a whole episode in bed, where Rachel is sick and has to lay in bed in comfy clothes for an entire episode," Lea told The Hollywood Reporter, clearly fancing the easy option for once in Rachel's song and dance-filled history.
You might think the woman behind Sue Sylvester would be keen for some sort of epic and dastardly number, but apparently she gets enough evil antics as it is and Jane fancies something a little more serious.
"I'd love to have her do something serious in the way the kids do, where she sings a song because she can find no other way to express herself than in song," Jane added. "Sue hasn't had one of those."
Darren also fancies getting the chance to get to know his character even better and thinks it's about time his mum and dad get brought into the story.
"I would love to meet Blaine's parents," he said. "They've alluded to Blaine having some kind of daddy issues and it would be cool to see that. … Blaine has been like five different characters, so I'd like to have a parental story arc to understand why that happened."
Personally we'd like a re-run of that time Chord Overstreet was a male stripper. Just for, ahem, personal reasons. But what about you - what would you like to see happen?
