Britain's Got Talent faces 'talent fixing' claims following rumours One Direction songwriter Ed Drewett to audition

He might have already released music of his own and written for Olly Murs, The Wanted and even penned One Direction's Best Song Ever, but apparently singer-songwriter Ed Drewett is still set to appear as an auditionee on the current series of Britain's Got Talent.

"Ed is a mate of 1D too, so they're likely to tweet in support during the live finals".

"The move raises big questions about the audition process and highlights how many acts are scouted, rather than apply in the normal way," the source added.

According to the source, Ed was open about his past successes and professional career during his audition in front of the judges, so it's not like they've tried to keep things quiet.
