If you're anything like us, January is basically a write-off. It's the Monday of months. We're grumpy, poor and are even running out of snacks to make the dark and dreary evenings more bearable. 

To rub salt into the wound, Airbnb have released the 10 most wish-listed properties on their website - which makes the £3.21 to our names and rain on the window even less appealing Anyone else want to book a one way flight one of here?

What: A cosy retreat made from local, sustainable and natural materials located on an acreage of sheep, gardens and orchards. Sounds so beaut, no? (via)

Where: San Salvatore Monferrato, Alessandria, Italy

How much: £110 a night

What: God, people are loving wish-listing the treehouse vibe, aren't they? We don't know very much about this one, except it looks AMAZING and we want to be there immediately. (via)

6. Mushroom Dome Cabin


Where: Aptos, CA, United States

How much: £79 per night

What: A geodesic dome loft and a large deck in the trees, the mushroom dome cabin is a unique tree house in a quiet yet convenient location. SO edgy. (via)

How much: £69 per night

What: Hit up this private tropical guest house aka the one in Cody Simpson's 'Love' music video and then tell us you don't want to run away to sea and become Captain Jack Sparrow. (via)

What: The most BEAUTIFUL little house with a private pool, four poster bed and views of the tropical forest around. If we had a choice, we'd snap this one up sharpish. (via)

What: A mini loft, ideal for a weekend getaway for sight seeing in Rome, this listing is a short walk from the Colosseum and totally beautiful with a modern twist. (via).

What: If you want some architectural significance in the middle of nowhere, powered by solar panels and to live a simple and minimal holiday for a few days, hit this place up. (via)
