Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas ditch their Disney roots in favour of a whole different kind of attitude in their upcoming movies, which both made their debut during the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.
And whilst she also makes an appearance in Bad Neighbours 2, Selena Gomez makes a particularly dramatic character change for upcoming flick The Fundamentals of Caring, with reports suggesting she becomes a total badass in the shape of Dot.
If the initial reviews are anything to go by, Dot is an all-swearing, smoking kid who has run away from home, and gets picked up at a gas station by Trevor (played by Craig Roberts) who has muscular dystrophy, and his caregiver (played by Paul Rudd). The trio embark on a routine road trip, and *spoiler alert*, an unlikely romance starts between Trevor and Dot. Ooh we're EXCITED.
Dot's a straight-talking, headstrong and sassy little madam, dropping the F-bomb and middle fingers all over the place, and we quite frankly cannot WAIT.
And as for Mr Nick Jonas, his latest movie comes in the shape of Goat, which sees him play a buzz-cut character named Brett, who's all about the #ladsladslads vibe. There's alcohol, drugs, quite a lot of nakerz hanky panky drama and a fair amount of frat party behaviour going on.
The film tells the story of brotherhood at college, the importance of American fraternities and what it means to state your own importance in a group of mates. Basically, testosterone fuelled lads, being LADS.
We're well excited to see Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas all grown up in their new roles, how about you? What do you lot reckon? Let's discuss this and more over on our twitter or in the comment box below please, you lovely lot.
