If you're anything like us, you're not ready for the day until you've scrolled through all your contacts' Snapchat stories whilst you're lying in bed with one eye open. Right? Right.
But the most annoying thing about the app is actually adding those contacts in the first place, seeing as it's easier to connect with the wrong person or add an incorrect username than it is to say 'Niall Horan' with a sausage roll in your mouth.
But all that's about to change, as The Verge have announced that Snapchat will soon introduce a far easier way to connect with people - without having to read out complicated usernames or attempt to use those little scan-things that no one actually knows how to work.
According to the tech website, every Snapchat user will soon have a personalised URL (found under the 'Add Friends' section in the app's drop-down menu), which they can simply send to others to add them.
Users then click the link to automatically add the other person. Seems pretty easy, huh?
Well some users reckon the whole thing is actually a bit pointless, seeing as it doesn't seem that hard to add 'Sugarscape' as a username or someone who's phone number you already have, but what do you lot reckon? Are you on board with this new idea or does it seem totally unnecessary?
Let's chat about it @Sugarscape, y'all.
