Matthew Lewis played his character Neville Longbottom for over ten years in eight different films, and during that time he blossomed from a bit of a sliiiightly awkward boy into the ultimate BEEFCAKE BAE. Sorry we'll calm down a bit.
But after potentially using polyjuice potion for his dreamy transformation, it sounds like Matt has definitely left his wizarding days behind him for good, as he's revealed that he doesn't ever want to go back to playing Neville.
Quizzed on whether he'd like to return to acting in the Harry Potter films one day, Matt was brutally honest when he admitted that he probably wouldn't fancy it tbh, as he feels he's done as much as he can with Neville's character.
"I feel like the story arch that Jo wrote and that we tried our best to put on screen, was a complete one," he said at the 3rd annual Celebration of Harry Potter in Orlando.
"I took that journey and finished it the way I wanted to. He will always hold a fun place in my heart, but I don't feel like there is more I can do with Neville. I'm happy to leave him."
As much as it breaks our hearts a bit to think of never seeing Matt strolling around topless in a Gryffindor scarf, it's probably for the best seeing as Harry, Ron and Hermione are all being played by different actors and actresses next time.
Sad to think that you won't see Matthew as Neville Longbottom again? Reckon anyone else could take on the role? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
