The next film in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy might not be set for release until 2017, but reports are claiming Christian Grey's rival in Fifty Shades Darker has officially been cast.
The role of love triangle maker Jack Hyde has reportedly gone to The Knick and Smallville's Eric Johnson, who'll join the franchise alongside Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
Oh HI eye candy.
Variety reports that Eric will take on the role of Anastasia Steele's new boss, who hires her as an intern and promptly tries to pursue her - which, as you can imagine, doesn't exactly impress Christian much.
Eric's not the only new addition to the cast thought, with Bella Heathcote and Kim Basinger both also getting involved.
Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini are all returning for the sequel, according to Variety, with James Foley taking to the director's chair and Niall Leonard helping with the script.
Fifty Shades Darker will apparently be filmed back-to-back with Fifty Shades Freed, with the two set to be released in 2017 and 2018.
