There's a few things we've come to rely on in our lives - the sun rising (and setting), the ability to eat our entire body weight in roast potatoes on a Sunday and the fact that the rumour mill for Autumn's X Factor will normally begin spinning approximately six months in advance.
Obviously, this year is no different, with Nick Grimshaw already leaving the show, Louis Tomlinson being a strong contender for his replacement and rumours that Caroline Flack has been given the boot.
Unfortunately, it doesn't quite end there, with claims that Olly Murs' future on the show is undecided (what with Caz potentially not returning to present with him), and reports that Simon Cowell is pretty keen to keep Rita Ora on the judging panel.
If someone could just wake us up in a few months when everything's been decided, that would be great thanks.
Olly Murs first, and a show insider has claimed that Simon is giving him the opportunity to walk away from the show before he's, well, made to.
The insider told The Mirror: "Simon Cowell likes Olly and doesn't want him to go under a cloud so he's being given the chance to walk before he's pushed. Olly always said he would never present the show without Caroline.
"They come as a package. He had a good time on the show and got on very well with everyone but realises his forte is music."
A spokesperson for the show, though, says no decisions have been made yet, while another source says: "Olly has been in discussions with his management about whether he wants to continue with the show because he's started recording and writing for his new album."
Meanwhile, it's thought Simon wants Rita to stay on his show, with an insider telling the Daily Star: "Rita is his No1 target. He sees her as being the one person that could save the series and make it great again. It's looking like Louis Tomlinson is also a done deal."
So there you go. Watch this space, folks. Watch. This. Space.
Who do you want to see on The X Factor (aside from Louis T, because duh)? Reckon Simon needs to make a bunch of new changes this year or nah? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape or a comment below, merci beaucoup.
