Last time we heard the name Sam Pepper he was pretending to kill someone's best friend for a 'prank' having been faced with numerous allegations of sexual harassment, and the time before that he was under fire for that ridiculous 'ass-grab' vid.
But it looks as though lots of YouTube fans might have had their wish granted this weekend, as Sam seems to have disappeared from the face of the internet after deleting everything from his social media platforms.
Sam has always been a pretty controversial YouTube star, and since all those sexual harassment allegations started to surface online, the community in general has shunned him from their corner of the internet.
But it looks as though Sam may have decided to take himself offline once and for all now, having deleted all of his tweets and Instagram posts, as well as making all of his video content private.
Meanwhile, his icons have also been changed to black squares, while one fairly worrying tweet has been left to sit on his timeline simply stating: "I give up."
As a result of Sam's rather drama-filled past and all the publicity stunts he's pulled previously, many people are pretty skeptical about his latest move, with the majority of fans wondering whether this is just for attention too.
What do you think about all of this? Has Sam really given up his internet career, or is it all just going to make itself known as another stunt soon? Let us know what you think with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
