If we all just pause for a second and realise that at one point in our lives, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook didn't exist and multiple social media platforms were just a singular hair in the curl of Harry Styles' head (we're using it as a metaphor for the future, DUH.)
With that in mind, we're always keen to check out new social media platforms on the off chance they might be the next big thing. We did it with Peach, we did it with Facebook reactions and today, we're doing it with Yubl.
So what exactly is it? Yubl aims to round up all the best features of existing social media platforms into one handy app. There's a 'Vote' button, which acts like the Twitter poll function, a Link function which helps you share content, a Whereabouts button (obvious one, that) and a Count function, which acts like the Poll function but with only one option.
You can create pinboards, personalise your profile, and as founding member Gareth Evans explained: ""Yubl has been built for today's users and their needs — we've created something that encompasses everything people love about mobile technology and much more
"It delivers a richer, more engaging, and hassle-free way to communicate by bringing users closer together with friends, interesting content, and their favorite brands and personalities. The only limit is their own imagination."
Whether or not the world needs another social media app is up for querstion, but whaddaya reckon? Thoughts? Let's discuss Yubl over on our twitter or in the comment box below, yo yo yo.
