By the sounds of things, the next series of X Factor is getting more of a shake up than your average polaroid picture. Nick Grimshaw is outta here, Caroline Flack has been given the boot, and Olly Murs has decided that he won't be returning either.
So with at least three major exits on the cards, there's some serious shoes to fill when it comes to judges and presenters for series 13 – so who better to step up for the job than an old X Factor veteran?
Yup you guessed it, Louis Walsh is apparently making a comeback. OH GOOD.
A year after he was replaced by Grimmy in the judging line up, it's thought that Walshy has been holding "protrated informal talks" with Simon Cowell recently about a possible deal for his comeback.
According to rumours, a return from Louis to the show could be down to a whopping £800,000 deal.
Yep, 800,000 actual pounds for the man who brought you Jedward and Wagner, to tell people they remind him of a young Barbara Streisand, to remind you that they're just 16 years old, and to tell Ireland to pick up the phone and vote. Great.
A source told The Mirror: "Simon and Louis work really well together. He provides a perfect foil for Simon.
"They've had a couple of phone conversations and it's looking as if a deal will be done, although no paperwork has yet been signed."
Right, so this is all very well and good but if we're gonna get a Louis on the judging panel for next series, it quite clearly needs to be Louis Tomlinson. WE'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG, STOP DOING THIS TO US, UNCLE SIMON.
Well this is about as exciting as a cheese sandwich. Want Walshy back, or would you rather have Louis Tomlinson? Ahem. Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
