It feels like we've
been waiting approximately 72 years, 9 months and 16 days for Louis Tomlinson
to take his rightful, golden throne as the new X Factor judge, and when all the shock cuts for next season were announced last week, it seemed like Tommo had it in the bag.
But now there's
all those rumours that Louis Walsh is being brought back to the judging panel
(why god WHY), and even Louis T himself has admitted that there's been no 'official
talks' yet. Sigh.
When Louis acted
as a guest judge for Uncle Simon Cowell in the last series of X Factor, it
seemed as though his new job as mentor was pretty much confirmed for the One
Direction hiatus. We laughed, we cried, we knew that the gods were real.
But chatting to
New magazine at the BRIT Awards last week, Louis said that it's still far from sorted which is
fairly terrible news, although he's still well up for taking on the job.
exciting. We've had no official conversation yet. But yeah, I mean, why wouldn't
I?" he spilled.
Yes we know there's the small matter of baby Freddie Tomlinson who's probably taking up quite a lot of Louis time at the moment, but can we hurry up and HAVE that official conversation, please? If anything's gonna boost The X Factor ratings, it's the sound of a certain Doncaster accent telling crap singers:"It's a no from me, love."
We might go on hunger strike until the news is confirmed. Although there's biscuits in the office today so that's probably not gonna happen, but STILL.
Are you still crossing your fingers that Louis is gonna be an X Factor judge? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
