Last week it was announced that, after just one year of hosting The X Factor, Caroline Flack had been given the boot with a very public sacking from Simon Cowell. Uh ohhh.
She showed up at the BRIT Awards looking uhmazing despite her bad news, but according to insiders, Cazza was secretly pretty gutted about the decision – especially seeing as her co-host Olly Murs was able to "walk away" from the job.
"It feels like Olly's been protected while she's been thrown under the bus," a secret source told heat magazine, revealing that Cazza Flackers was left pretty shocked by Uncle Si's decision to replace her on the show.
While Caroline's best pal Olly confirmed three days later that he would also be leaving The X factor, she's still been left feeling that her treatment by the show's big wigs is pretty unfair.
"Simon wanted to ditch them both but Olly was allowed to walk away, head held high, while Caroline seemed publicly shoved out.
"She thinks it's so unfair. It feels like she's been made the fall guy for the show not going so well."
What's even worse is that the insider also claims that all of this X Factor drama has put tricky pressure on Caroline and Olly's friendship, despite the fact they've been best pals since starting their job on The Xtra Factor in 2011.
"Their closeness makes this situation even worse," the source said. "Caroline had Olly's back. There were mistakes on the show, but Caroline saved the day a lot… It's made it awkward between her and Olly."
