Users of Spotify and Facebook alike (basically the whole world, then) jump for joy and let out a yelp of GLEE as the streaming website and messenger app are teaming up to make sharing music easier than ever. YAAAS.
So you know when you're doing the classic social media scroll on your phone and flipping between Instagram, Twitter, Facebook yada yada yada? Well it's fairly annoying when you have to interrupt a conversation because a crap song has come on and you need to get on Spotify.
But all of that is about to change, because the Facebook messenger app for iOS and Andriod now lets users jump straight to their Spotify account to change the track or share a playlist without leaving the convo. SO GOOD.
Selecting the 'More' tab in Messenger followed by 'Spotify' opens the streaming service within the messenging app, meaning changing from a 'FOUR' song to an underrated 'Up All Night' track (but that's another story) has never been easier.
Pretty good, huh?
The integration also means Spotify users will be also to ping songs to Messengers just as quickly from that app too - so if you need us, we'll be sharing old Destiny's Child tracks with our whole contact book.
How about you? Will this revolutionise your life? Discuss with us over on our twitter, you lovely lot.
